Step-by-Step Instructions:
  • First, cut the hat shape – Create a small triangle with a rounded bottom. Some templates are included in my bundle.
  • Next, form the cone by gently rolling the edges together. Once you’re happy with it, apply hot glue along the edge, press to secure, and let it dry.
  • Attach the pom pom – Add a dab of hot glue to the top of the cone and press on a mini pom pom. Let it dry completely.
  • Secure to your woodland animals – Use hot glue, glue dots, or double-sided tape to attach the hats to figurines or cake toppers.

Of course, camping celebrations wouldn’t be complete without the joy of roasting marshmallows and indulging in snack-filled fun — especially s’mores! In addition to or instead of roasting, set up a trail mix bar or a cozy s’mores station. These s’more-themed gift tags are the perfect fit for a pre-made s’more mix you can send your guests off with. Find the recipe below.

RECIPE

To make the s’mores snack mix, I combined melted butter, vanilla, powdered sugar, chocolate graham cracker bears, pretzels, mini marshmallows, and cinnamon cereal. There are a few different ways to make the mix. I followed this recipe from Kroger, but also found this variation.
